God’s Plan of Salvation
It’s All About Grace: The Roman Road
God’s plan of salvation set forth in Paul’s letter to the Romans.
Romans 1:20-21
For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse. For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened.
We must acknowledge God as the Creator of everything and accept our humble position in God’s creation.
Romans 3:23
For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,
We are all sinners and that we need God’s forgiveness. We are not worthy of His grace.
Romans 5:8
But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
God has provided for our salvation through Jesus Christ. God showed us His love by giving us the potential for everlasting life through the death of His Son, Jesus Christ.
Romans 6:23
For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
If we remain sinners, we will die. However, if we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior, and repent of our sins, we will have eternal life.
Romans 10:9-10
That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.
Just confess that Jesus Christ is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead and you will be saved!
Romans 10:13
For, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
Call upon the name of the Lord and you will be saved!
Romans 11:36
For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be the glory forever! Amen.
You have the choice, in your heart to make Jesus Christ the Lord of your life today. Repent your sins and turn your life over Christ. Open your heart to God and pray for His forgiveness. Invite Jesus into your life and you will be born again. Follow up on your commitment to God by being baptized, finding a church family, and by sharing the gospel. Spend time every day in pray and study. The devotional time will help you better understand your commitment and how to bring others into a life with Jesus.
